Why choose STORM

STORM using LiDAR SLAM technology to map the garden

LDI technology creates 3D map

Powered by LDI (Laser Mapping, Direct AI processing and Imaging), STORM revolutionises what a smart mower is capable of. LDI utilises a top-mounted LiDAR SLAM turret to gather more information than any mower before. LDI intelligently analyses the real-time data, creating precise 3D maps and then plots the optimised route for accurate lawn navigation.

Unlike RTK technology with unstable signals or vision-based mowers with reduced adaptability, STORM excels in all lawn conditions, delivering superior performance.

STORM doesn't need boundary cable or satelitte signals to navigate your garden

No more perimeter wire or satelite

LDI eliminates the hassle of RTK base stations, boundary wires, lost signals, and unavoidable obstacles. You can operate it using the app to set up virtual boundaries, no-go zones, and pathways quickly.
STORM's LDI technology delivers a hassle-free, perfect lawn on autopilot.

STORM can go anywhere. Where other robots may struggle because of signal blocking, STORM is totally self-reliant and carries on regardless.

Enhanced coverage with no missed corners

When conducting lawn mowing operations near corners, shrubs, etc., fluctuations in the base station signal may occur, resulting in reduced coverage and missed cuts in these areas. However, now STORM ensures comprehensive coverage of every inch of the lawn, including all corners, minimizing the need for users to invest additional time and cost in secondary maintenance.

Advanced Features

Charging station can be installed Outdoor or Indoor

STORM charging station can be placed indoors or outdoors

Flexibility: Install the charging station indoor or outdoor depending on preference.
Security: Protect your STORM robot from theft and keep it safe.
Durability: Keep your mower sheltered from wind and sunlight, extending its lifespan.
Convenience: No more extension cables, making storage and charging easy.

Automatic Return to Charge

Equipped with intelligent automatic recharging, STORM can independently return to its charging station when the battery is low. This means that when the battery level drops to a certain point, STORM doesn't simply stop. It autonomously navigates back to its designated charging station. This intelligent system ensures uninterrupted operation, as the STORM is always ready to resume its tasks after a full charge, eliminating the need for manual intervention and providing a truly hands-off experience for the user.

Resume cutting from Stop Point

After automatically recharging its high-capacity battery, STORM resumes its mowing operation precisely where it left off. This seamless continuation ensures that every inch of your lawn is flawlessly maintained without missed spots or uneven patches.

Multiple obstacle avoidance technologies

STORM safety cautious

Safety is a top priority for us and AM-ROBOTS and we have integrated intelligent obstacle avoidance technology, providing peace of mind whilst STORM works.

LDI technology: STORM uses a high-precision, 360° LDI module to detect and locate obstacles in all directions and plans an avoidance path accordingly.
Visual Recognition: Effective front-facing camera; the built-in camera enables real-time monitoring of the surroundings. When STORM detects small obstacles such as animals or toys, it can safely maneuver around them.

Front Bumper: Physical protection; Equipped with a wide-angle (144°) front bumper provides additional physical protection of unexpected obstacles.

Easy deployment & Set-up

No auxiliary base station required: By using advanced LDI technology, STORM eliminates the requirements for additional equipment like RTK base stations. This ensures enhanced precision, high stability and greater adaptibility for an exceptional lawn care experience.
No more spending time and hassle on boundary cable installment: Position the mower on your lawn, define the desired mowing area(s) through the intuitive app, and let STORM take care of the rest.

FWD - Front Wheel Drive

Conquer any terrain with an advanced front-wheel drive system. STORM is designed for superior traction, maneuverability, handle slopes, rough patches, and uneven terrain. The durable, puncture resistant tyres feature a non-slip tread pattern, allowing the mower to navigate gravel roads and potholes. let it handle even the most complex landscapes with ease.

The dual front wheel brushless motors allow for all day operation without overheating. Brushless motor technology ensures minimal maintenance requirements while delivering increased power and torque, enabling STORM to tackle thicker grass and tougher terrain with a gradient up to 45% (equivalent to 24°).

Tested around the globe
Built for every lawn

Discover how STORM effortlessly maintains diverse lawns across the globe using advanced LDI technology. LDI (Laser Direct Imaging) technology allows them to learn, map, and optimise their mowing patterns in real time, ensuring a clean, consistent cut no matter the landscape. Whether it's a compact urban garden or a sprawling countryside lawn, these robotic mowers deliver professional results worldwide.

Early adopters of this technology are amazed by the ease of set up and the accuracy of a system that thinks for itself, requiring zero external signals to operate. STORM is a proven solution built to handle anything your garden throws at it.

Ensure a successful installation

Installing and configuring the STORM robot is an easy and intuitive process, with the supplied Quick Setup Guide and the smartphone app guiding you through the various steps.

Hybrid Grass ensures good grip for your robot mower. However, all robotic lawnmower installations are prone to some issues at some point or another. This is often nothing to do with the robot itself but more with the conditions of the lawn and the weather. Areas where the robot makes regular turns, for example in front of the docking station, or slopes and wetter muddier patches may cause difficulties for robots. To make the installation successful long-term we recommend reinforcing those key areas of the installation with sheets of Hybrid Grass as it helps the robot perform properly and protects the lawn. A lot of customers choose this because it avoids problems later and keeps the lawn looking its best.
